The United States Welcomes Back International Intended Parents Who Need Surrogacy and Egg Donation

International Intended Parents

Recently, the United States announced it was lifting the ban on International travelers to the United States. On Monday, November 8, foreign visitors were allowed to enter the United States provided they were vaccinated.

The California Center for Reproductive Medicine (CACRM) enthusiastically welcomes vaccinated international intended parents from around the globe who are seeking egg donation and surrogacy services. The end of the travel ban means these individuals can take advantage of California’s favorable legal environment, highly qualified surrogates, and excellent surrogacy and egg donation professionals like Dr. Lori Arnold and the CACRM team.

California Is a Legal Stronghold for Surrogacy

California has some of the nation’s most robust legal protections for Intended Parents and Surrogates. California surrogacy law recognizes and protects the rights of Intended Parents and Surrogates. The courts issue pre-birth orders with both parents’ names, regardless of gender, on their baby’s birth certificate.

It allows international parents to return home sooner. Also, their babies can become U.S. citizens with U.S. passports.

This is good news for many foreign patients from countries that may not legally allow them to pursue their family-building dreams via surrogacy.

First Steps for International Intended Parents

During the travel ban, prospective patients have been able to consult with Dr. Arnold through consultations via Skype or Zoom. They also have been able to access information about third-party reproduction through our foreign-language websites:

  • For Spanish and other Spanish-speaking Intended Parents: https://cacrm.es/
  • For Mexican and other Spanish-speaking Intended Parents: https://cacrm.mx/
  • For French and French-speaking Intended Parents: https://cacrm-france.com/
  • For German and German-speaking Intended Parents: https://cacrm.de/
  • For Italian and Italian-speaking Intended Parents: https://cacrm.it/
  • For Chinese and Chinese-speaking Intended Parents: https://cacrm-china.com/

We recommend international patients initially talk to us virtually via Skype or Zoom. They also have the option of consulting with the doctor in person at our center located in beautiful Encinitas, California.

California Surrogates

Our surrogacy clinic’s patients will find that California surrogates are highly qualified. CACRM  will match them with the most appropriate surrogate who has been thoroughly screened and evaluated.

CACRM is Ready to Help

Foreign prospective parents will need to travel to our IVF Surrogacy & Egg Donation Center for treatment and to meet their surrogate personally. They will return when it is time for their baby to be born.

The CACRM team is ready to help intended parents prepare for their surrogacy journey in California. We have international coordinators fluent in different languages, including Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Chinese.

We also have a resource page on our website with a list of nearby accommodations and tourist suggestions.

We are looking forward to meeting you in person and are excited about helping you become parents!
